Brick by Brick

With the winter months coming, we wanted to go with something winter chic and classic. After presenting two mood boards and discussing each vendor’s vision for the styled shoot, we decided to use the lush and luxe color scheme of sage green, black and gold. It was the perfect mix to compliment the beautiful Venue on Brick and easily paired with Lacie’s photography style.

For this shoot, we wanted to offer an on-trend, eco-friendly rental style. Being eco-friendly doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice glamour. We wanted to show how just a few small choices can really make a difference, but still have a bold and sophisticated wedding day atmosphere. Minimal table linens and reusable napkins are one way to stay environmentally conscious. We let the farmhouse tables from Venue on Brick be the base for the tablescapes. This look shows LED candles as an ecological choice for your centerpieces. These candles add a winter warmth and are actually safer for your wedding as there is no risk of fire or allergic reaction. As a bonus, these candles can be reused, keeping hundreds of old candles from the landfill. Instead of using fresh florals, we used faux greenery garland mixed with a handful of faux floral. Keeping the florals to a minimum let all of the greenery pop, really carrying the sage green around the room. Our cake backdrop is a great example of where we let the color scheme shift to bold and add a bit of party to the mix.

By using balloon garlands in different colors and ways, we were able to separate the room into vignettes for fun photo ops and easily bring the color scheme together! The whole team brought a unique aspect to this vision. The wedding cake screams LUXE! We hope you enjoy our take on winter chic and classic. It was so much fun to put together.

XOXO
