At Simply Delicious, we listen to you and your partner’s needs, assess any possible challenges, address your concerns and truly help you through every step of the process. We want you to enjoy your special day and embrace the moment. We do not want you to have to worry about the planning process and service of your wedding. Weddings are beautiful and should be celebrated. Incredible food and amazing service are what we want you and your guests to remember most about your special day.
We often get questions about what foods pair well together, how to serve it out to their guests, how many options should the couple provide, etc. First and foremost, this day is about you and your significant other so your wedding should reflect that! We love working with our couples to incorporate their favorite food and style into their wedding day.
The first step in our process is a brainstorming session with Chef and Owner, Patty Wingo. A brainstorming session is an hour long meeting where Chef Patty gets to you and your significant other and what you were envisioning for your wedding day. Once we know the feel and style of how you are wanting your wedding, we can better access the types of food to serve and the style of service. For example, we offer disposable products, elegant disposable products and various types of china for your dinnerware and a served buffet, stations, and plated and served for dinner service. If a couple is wanting their wedding to be high scale and elegant, or more traditional, we would suggest china with plated and served. High end disposable dinnerware is always an elegant but cheaper option we often suggest because it helps couples’ with their budget without compromising elegance. If a couple wants a more laid back wedding where their guests can roam, we usually suggest a buffet or our stations.
For traditional buffets and plated and served events, couples get to choose their choice of salad, two proteins, their choice of starch, their choice of vegetable and a yeast roll. Stations are fun and different because the couple gets to be creative in their food options to where they get to choose 3 stations. Examples of some of the stations we offer are a salad bar station, dip station, street taco bar station, BBQ station, Asian station and Tuscan station. We often have couples that each choose a station that reflects their favorite foods and then compromise on their last station or use it for their cocktail hour. We love when we can be creative with our couples.
