MEET MISTY

MISTY WILLINGER

Misty Willinger Events

Misty Willinger has a reputation for being the hardest working woman in the room. Many of her clients have paid her the ultimate compliment after their wedding by referring her to friends and saying, “I would have paid Misty DOUBLE!” After college, Misty started working in the corporate world traveling, managing sales growth spreadsheets, profit & loss statements, all while learning how to communicate with different types of people. She had a gift for planning, organizing and paying attention to details, but knew in her heart the corporate gig was not for her. She loved helping plan weddings. She left the business world to work as an Event Planner for two different wedding venues in the St. Louis area, but finally decided to start her own wedding planning service here in Springfield. The business skills she learned helped prepare Misty to take this leap. She says, “ You have to really know what you are doing when your customers trust you with their money! It is so much more than just the design aspect and set up.” Misty has been in this industry for 13 years and loves working with couples to design, plan and execute the wedding of their dreams. From full wedding planning to day-of coordinating, Misty says, “Planning a wedding with me does not have to be stressful. We break it down into manageable pieces and make it fun.” Fairy godmothers solve overwhelming problems, and that is just what Misty does. Having working relationships with area wedding vendors, knowledge and expertise is one of the many benefits of working with her. You can be confident Misty will be fully immersed in your wedding – from making sure all of the moving parts are in order, to coordinating logistics, to bringing you a plate of champagne and appetizers before you start taking pictures, Misty brings peace and calm to your very important, busy day.

PRO ADVICE:
